iA Writer Classic (Legacy Support Edition) App Reviews

I love iWriter and have used it almost daily since I bought it months ago. However, since the latest updates, every time I open the app Im confronted with a full-screen ad for iWriter Pro. What gives?! This is really annoying. Please cut it out.

I use it for almost a year now and I totally love it. If you are not using it with Dropbox you can use it in the subway and every were. I have more than 200 pages on word write in this app and still no rush to see what I am writing. Only thing is that the auto-correct is making it annoying . Still love it do!

This app is what I turn to to when I need to write something…anything.

Does what it says it does. Simple and powerful. Interfaces smoothly with dropbox. Does all i need it to do with no hassle.

3 stars in place of the 5 stars it would deserve if they can fix all the iCloud sync issues!! Great app Terrible sync

This is the one app that keeps me on iOS. love it.

I find the "cursor" move keys very helpful. I write my drafts on this and then upload to my computer for more editing and formatting.

If you ever loved Bean or WriteNow on a Mac this is the app for you. Its easy, clear, and while Pages does a thousand things that iA Writer doesnt do, the things they both do iA Writer does better.

Excellent for initial writing of reports. The preview mode is handy. I open it in a word processor for final font and format changes.

My favourite app for distraction free writing. Im most productive articulating my thoughts and drafting papers using iA Writer. Keep up the great work!

Elegant and reliably syncs with Dropbox. Havent had a problem with it for what feels like at least a year now.

I have used a plethora of editors and always come back to this one. Simple, effective, excellent.

This app has changed the way I work. Its so much faster than the built-in iOS apps, and with iCloud support I can easily access my files with MacDown on my laptop.

Ive been using iWriter since its release, and Im proud to say its my favorite app. I pull it up in bright moments of brilliance, I write lengthy emails and letters with it. I also turn to its blank page when Im creatively at a loss. It is my elegantly designed handheld typewriter. I couldnt be happier with the apps performance and upgrades along the way. If you are looking for a writing companion, please look no further.

Doesnt cut and paste between documents. Pretty essential feature missing IMO. Doesnt seem to be behaving well lately. Perhaps its not working with ios 8? Keyboard doesnt pop up when you need it, especially when renaming notes. I paid enough for this app. Do I have to pay for "pro" to get it functioning?
